Long Term Accommodation – Minimum 28 nights

@ The Hub ‘EAST’ has 110 self contained studio units with en-suite bathroom and kitchenette. All rooms are fully furnished, have WiFi access and a landline phone. With long term units starting from $265 per week including electricity, and a wide range of room options across 7 floors. Studio Units are the ultimate in affordable city living.

• Underground Secure Carpark – $50.00 per week/ $25.00 per night
• Visitors – Additional $20 per night
• Additional person long term – $60 per week
• Additional child (under 5years – $25 per week

MOVE IN COSTS & PAYING RENT

Breakdown of Move in Costs – 3 weeks rent (example)

• $265.00 – First weeks rent (Deposit) -deposits are non-refundable within 28 days of arrival date
• $265.00 – Bond
• $265.00 – One weeks rent in advance.

Room Account – Your room account must be two weeks in advance at ALL times (1 week bond, 1 week rent in advance)

Paying Rent – The day you move in becomes your rent day. Eg. Move in on a Monday, your rent is due every Monday. Cash, Eftpos and Credit Card payment facilities are available at Reception although Automatic Payment is preferred.

Moving Out – We request two weeks notice be given prior to moving out. Your one week rent in advance can be used to credit your final weeks stay. One week bond will be held until a room inspection has been completed.  Your Bond will be refunded to you within 3-5 Business days, provided that your room is clean, tidy, free of damage and your rent is up to date.

INCLUSIONS AND FACILITIES

Internet – Flexible plans are available through “Inspire PrePay” from $37.50 per month(click here for plans) Wired internet is also available via ethernet point in your room. Please note only three devices can be logged in to an account at any time.

Furniture – Bed, wardrobe, desk/table and chairs included

Kitchenette & Bathroom – All Studio Units are equipped with Kitchenettes and Ensuite. Kitchenettes include mini fridge, stove hobs, kitchen cupboards, bench and sink. Ensuites include shower, hand basin and toilet.

Security – All residents are provided with security swipe fobs to gain access to the premises and the elevators. Only residents are allowed upstairs to the rooms unless accompanied by a current resident. This is monitored by Reception at all times. CCTV is monitored 24/7. An On-Call, on-site staff member is available 24/7 for emergencies.

Facilities – A TV Lounge and vending machine is located on the Ground Floor which is available 24 hrs. Laundry machines are available in our Laundromat next door ‘@ The Laundry’ located at 12 King Street for $4 per cycle. Dryers are $1.00 for every 15minutes. Coins can be exchanged at Reception. Bicycle racks are available in the secure basement free of charge. Reception is open on weekdays.

Exclusions

Kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery, linen, blankets, towels, weekly room cleaning.

WHAT HAPPENS NOW?

2. Please ensure you read all House Rules – these are important!
3. You will be informed of your acceptance by e-mail or phone
4. Once you have been accepted, we required a deposit of one week to secure a room
5. The deposit becomes non-refundable within two weeks of your arrival date
6. All reservation details are e-mailed to you upon acceptance, please check these are correct.

MOVE IN DAY

1. Please remember to bring – Photo ID (Drivers Licence or Passport) and Student Course Confirmation (if applicable)
2. Payment – Two weeks payment is required (this is detailed above, and provided that a deposit has been received)
3. Keys – 1 x Security Fob and 1 x Room Key will be provided per person, don’t lose these!
4. Tenancy Agreement – This needs to be completed and signed, this outlines the terms of your tenancy (minimum stay, emergency details, inclusions etc)
5. Moving In – Trolleys are available at Reception to help moving your belongings.
